Forget Robin, Juve told

Arsene Wenger reckons there is no chance of Robin van Persie joining Juventus this summer.

The Arsenal captain, who has one year to run on his deal, is yet to commit his future to the Emirates.

Juve are one of few clubs to go public with their interest in the Holland striker, but Wenger has told them to forget it.

The Gunners boss said: "There is no reason why a top player would want a move to Serie A - in terms of the prestige of the league, the level of play or financial considerations.

"If he moves there, I will buy you a caramello. He will stay at Arsenal."

Arsenal have already bolstered their forward options for next season, signing Germany's Lukas Podolski and lining up a deal for Montpellier's France striker Olivier Giroud.
