Azim Premji is the Indian Billionaire Business Tycoon and the chairman of WIPRO Technologies. Forbes has estimated his net worth US $ 17.5 Billion in 2010 making him India’s second richest person after Mukesh Ambani.

His enormous fortune derives from his 80% stake (Over 1.1 Billion shares) in WIPRO Technologies. He runs Azim Premji Charitable Foundation and a private investment firm – Azim Premji Investments through his family office.

Through this Investment firm, he invests in Businesses – Private and Public. He also invests via private equity funds. In 2008, he bought 10% stake in SUBHISKSHA – a troubled retail chain of India which was his bad investment according to him.
