Azim Premji is the Billionaire Indian Business tycoon and the chairman of WIPRO Technologies, India’s third largest software company. Forbes has estimated his net worth US $ 17.5 Billion making him India’s second richest person.

He owns almost 80% stake in WIPRO Technologies which makes him a billionaire. He also owns a private equity firm.

He holds over 1.1 billion shares of WIPRO Technologies and in the year 2008-09, he received Rs.4 per share dividend fetching him Rs.464 Crore dividend which was TAX FREE…!!!! (After 12% of Dividend Distribution Tax).

Azim Premji receives annual salary of just Rs.2-3 crores (0.3% of the entire profit of the Annual WIPRO Technologies).
