Should I own Businesses or Jobs?

Should you own Businesses or Jobs? I remember that, when I was in school my parents and school teacher used to say me that, work hard in the school, get good grades and take a safe and secure high paying job in your life to achieve financial success.

But I ask that, where is the job security in the current world? There is a mass scale job loss in USA and other developed countries. And if we talk about India than also there is no job security in the modern world.

When I was in school, my parents and school has taught me only one thing about Business & Investment. and that is, “IT IS RISKY”.

But after 1990, the world started changing when I was in School. Finally in 200, when I left the school, I found that there is no job security at all in the modern world. And those of my friends who has their family run businesses are more safe and secure financially today than me and those whose family don’t own any Business.

So in the real world, Not having a Business & Investments is a Risky thing.

You also observe this phenomena with yourself. Who is more successful and financially secure today? You (We consider here that you don’t have any family owned Business) or your those friends who have their family run Businesses?

So What do you think now? What is better? Owning a Job is better or owning a Business is better?

I know several of my friends who own multiple jobs. This is the normal tendency of so many people. One of my friend works in the morning at one place and do his evening job at some other place. He starts working for a Company at 9 in the morning and go home at 12 night. And he thinks that he will become success one day.

While my other friend who is running his family owned Business is developing businesses. The more Businesses he develops, the more time he has left behind to enjoy with his family because developing business means you have to just higher more and more people and experts to run it. So the more Businesses you will develop, the more time you will have to enjoy.

So I advise youngsters that, you start developing your own Business as early as possible in your life means now. Because it will take a time to develop your Business. But once it will develop, it will grow and run automatically without your presence. And than you will have lots of time to enjoy your life.

So owning multiple Business is not a risky thing but owning multiple jobs can be Risky…!!!
