Many Internet Entrepreneurs who have recently launched their internet venture ask me the same question that, “I have worked hard to develop my website and i have also market it well. But why the Internet Business Sales doesn’t go high?”

This is the question of almost every entrepreneur who have started his new venture on the internet. I know that, How frustrating it is when you have launched a great website business and for months, it is not generating any Sales. You have spend lots of money behind internet marketing and still the sales doesn’t rise up.

Well, the simple answer of this question is – Web traffic.

Well, see. The Internet is the game of numbers. The more web traffic your web properties will have, the more sales it will have. You can not imagine thousands of dollars of sales with just few hundred monthly visitors on your website.

So you have to focus on increasing the web traffic of your web property. The more the web traffic your site have, naturally the more sales your Internet Business will have.'

The web traffic is exactly same like the Foot-traffic in the offline world. Suppose you run a store in the offline world. Now your store daily has 100 visitors while someone else’s store has daily 1000 visitors. Now, who will have more sales? Obviously the store which has daily 1000 visitors.

Another important key factor is the conversion rate. Now, not the all the visitors visiting to your store (Online or Offline) will buy from your store. Some are just the window shoppers. So it is the conversion rate which matters. Means how many percentage of visitors on your store (Online or offline) has actually buy items?

Usually 1-5% conversion rate is a good one while more than 5% conversion rate is extremely good.

So for the Internet Business Sales, it is extremely important that you first build the web traffic on your website. You focus on SEO, Social Marketing, AdWords Campaign, Facebook & Twitter Campaign, Link Building and everything else that brings more traffic to your website business.

Once your website will have certain level of web traffic say 1000 unique visitors daily or more, it will automatically starts generating sales.
