All of you now know that, this is the information age and its really possible to become an internet (online) billionaire. I means to say that, it’s really possible to do an Internet Business and becoming a billionaire. Now, the question is that, Which are the possible ways to become an Internet Billionaire?

Well, there are many. Such as developing any kind of application that is usually helpful to literally millions of people (Google, Twitter) or you can develop a Social Network where literally millions of people want to hang out (Facebook, Orkut) or you can develop a website where literally millions of people come for selling their products (eBay, Amazon) or you can choose to provide some kind of service on the internet (PayPal). There are several ways that you can do online and become an internet billionaire.

In my view, you can become an internet billionaire by doing virtually anything on the Internet…. even Blogging also…. But the only thing that most of the people in this world don’t do to become a Billionaire is – Developing a Successful Business & Taking it to the Public.

Many Entrepreneurs in this world develop a successful business but forget to take that business to the public. They simply don’t hit the stock market. They simply don’t sell the shares of their own companies to literally millions of people and investors. And that’s why they fail to become a billionaire. This may because many entrepreneurs don’t know how to take their business public or may be they don’t want to dilute the ownership of their empire by selling its shares to the public.

Well, if you run a profitable business and don’t want to sell its ownership than it’s completely fine in it. There is nothing wrong in doing so. But the thing here is that, if you want to become a billionaire than you must have to sell at least partial (At least 10%) ownership your company to the public. In other words, you must have to hit the stock market if you want to be an internet or any other kind of billionaire.

This is because billionaires are billionaires because their stake (Share) value in their own publically listed companies is worth of billions. All the Forbes billionaires and the founders of Google, eBay, Amazon, Facebook are billionaires because their own stake in their own publically listed companies is worth of billions.

I am not saying that, taking your internet business public is an easy task. I am just saying that, if you want to become an online billionaire than business idea is not important. You can become a billionaire by any idea. The important thing is that, you have to take that idea to the Public….!!!!! I mean you have to be a Selling shareholder…!!!!
