Mukesh Ambani is the chairman of Reliance Industries, India’s largest private sector conglomerate. He is the richest person in India having net worth of US $ 29 Billion according to Forbes 2010.

Mukesh Ambani is back in the Telecom Sector as he bought 95% stake in Infotel company, the only wireless broadband provider in India which has Pan India licence.

Those, who don’t know about past history, let me tell you that, Reliance Communication was mainly managed by Mukesh Ambani before 2005 and he worked full 3 years on the company to grow it to the new levels. However, in 2005, when both the Ambani brothers split, he lose the control over R-Comm as his younger brother Anil Ambani became the new owner of the company.

But now, after buying Infotel, Mukesh Ambani is again back in the telecom sector.

According to the sources, in early 2011 the company will start providing WiMax broadband services in all over India and thus, the broadband connectivity and internet penetration will increase in India.

This is really a great move by Mukesh Ambani. Infotel is the only Indian company which has won the pan India broadband license. And just after winning the license, Mukesh Ambani has acquired it.
