Many people ask me that, How much financial advisor fees one should pay for a good financial planning advise?

Well, there is a debate on issue. Many top level financial planners charge 5% fees from the total assets under management of their clients while many charge 1-2%.

However, in India right now people are not that much financially aware and that’s why not many people are willing to pay this much amount of fees.

But well, in my opinion, if somebody is giving you excellent financial advise than you should pay him at least 2-3%. So that in the future, he can advise you further and give you more good financial advises.

Many of my friends are not willing to pay anything to the financial advisors. This is because they think that these advises are free. But well, let me tell you that nothing is FREE in this world.

The Financial advisor has years of expertise and experience of various financial products and that’s why he can give you the excellent advise.

So in my opinion, if you are planning to higher the excellent financial advisor than you should pay him his reasonable fees.
