Anil Ambani Loss

Anil Ambani is the Billionaire Indian Industrialist and India’s Top 10 richest persons according to Forbes 2010. His estimated net worth is US $ 13 Billion and his most of the fortune comes from his majority stake in Reliance Communications.

In the year 2008, Anil Ambani promoted Reliance Energy taken its subsidiary Reliance Power to public and in just one year his net worth was grew to almost more than $ 10 Billion making him World’s fastest growing billionaire according to Forbes.

But in 2009, He suffered a $ 30 Billion of Valuation loss because of the recession has hit the share prices of his various companies very hard. He was the biggest loser of year 2009 according to Forbes.

Before 2009, his estimated net worth was whooping US $ 42 Billion but after a $ 30 Billion of loss, its just US $ 12 Billion.

However, these are just the “On paper” Valuations loss. The share prices tend to fluctuate and these kind of un-realize losses really don’t make any difference in the life of the Billionaire Business Tycoons.
