Anil Ambani is the chairman of Reliance ADA Group and a Billionaire business tycoon having a net worth of US $ 13 Billion according to Forbes making him India’s Top 10 richest person.

Many of you may want to know that how much Anil Ambani earns as a salary from his various businesses?

Well, this really depends.

In year 2007, Anil Ambani received Rs.2.4 Crore of annual salary from the flagship company Reliance Communications. However, in the year 2008, he received Rs.13.4 Crore of annual salary.

While on the other hand, his elder brother Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries is the highest paid businessman of India who receives Rs.45 crore of annual salary from his flagship company Reliance Industries.

However, in the year 2009, Anil Ambani received Rs.52 Crore of salary from his companies along with almost Rs.100 Crores in Remunerations.

Thus, in the year 2009, he was the highest paid CEO in India.

You can see in the above chart that Anil Ambai is the highest paid remuneration fees in India.

Addressing shareholders at the AGM of RCOM, Anil had said that he was not taking any salary and commission, totalling around Rs 30 crore, from the company for 2008-09 due to recession.

In comparison, Anil's total remuneration at all his group companies stood at Rs 43.43 crore during 2007-08. He had not taken any salary even during 2007-08 at four of his group companies -- RCOM, R-Cap, R-Power and RNRL.
