Have you ever thin that, why so many universities have been opened in just past 1 decade in India? Well, This is because the Education Industry of India is world’s largest Industry. And there is a lots of demand in the Educational Services in India. The Target Population (5-24 Years) in India for Education is around 535 Million which is a $ 100 Billion market and growing at the rate of 10% CAGR. Second comes China having just 350 Million of target market.
So This suggest that, there is a huge space in this Industry for Educational Services Businesses. Investors, Governments & Top Most Universities from all around the world want to enter and invest into the Indian Education Industry. But because of the highly unregulated market, they are afraid of entering into the market.
If today the Government of India don’t clean the Education Industry by closing the “Doomed Universities” than in the future your children may never experience the world class level of education because the Investors from all around the world will never Invest in India’s Education Industry and the future will be different.
And as a part of reforming the Education System of India, The Government is planning to remove the concept of Deemed Universities in India to maintain the quality standard of the Education.
