Deemed Universities Derecognition Status India
You must have heard about the 44 Indian Deemed University Derecognition News. And Kapil Sibal is the head of the HRD, India. According to the Affidavit filed by HRD to the Supreme Court India, these 44 Universities were highly unfit by all the parameters of Education Standard.
Let me tell you that, The University (D.Y. Patil University, Kolhapur) in which I am studying is one of them.
Now, the parents and students are very much anxious. Because this is a question of 2,00,000 students studying in these 44 universities. But today Kapil Sibal has assured that, he will take care of the future of all of these students by transferring their degrees to the affiliate universities.
Now, the Question is that, Since Last 30 years Government, Parents & Students are knowing that what is going on in the Indian Education Industry and all of us are keeping our eyes closed and mouth shut about what’s going on in the Education Industry. Than why suddenly after several years, the Indian Government suddenly wants to improve the standard of the Education in India?
Why after several decades, suddenly the Indian Government now wants to clean the Education Industry in such a Catastrophic Manner?
Here is the Economic View Point behind this -
Well, See. The India is world’s largest Education Industry. The Indian Education Industry is a $ 100 Billion Education Industry today and growing very fast. Here is a fact about the Indian Education Industry.
“India has emerged as one of the world's largest consumer of education services with a target population of more than 445 million (between age group of 5-24 years)
which is expected to increase to approximately 486 million by 2025.
This figure is far exceeding than than the combined target population of China (354 million) & USA (91 million) in the same year.
Total Private & Public Expenditure behind Education Services in India is 100 billion US $ per annum.
And this expenditure is growing at a CAGR (Compounded annual Growth Rate) of 10.38% since 1994.”
Thus, Investors, Universities & Governments from all around the world want to invest in the Education Industry of India. But unfortunately, there is not a fair practice in the Indian Education Industry.
And that’s why the government of India now wants to clean the garbage and unfair practices in the Education Industry. So that it can attract the foreign Investors & Universities in India which can develop high level of educational institutes in India over the next few decades.
And as a part of this process, Kapil Sibal is doing all of this. So don’t worry if you are a Student. Everything will be OK in the Future. After all, We are world’s largest Education Industry…!!!
