I receive queries from high school students like,

- Is it worth to become a doctor for Money?
- What is the scope for doctors in India as a Financial point of view?

Well, India is a very wide country and there are several opportunities for doctors countrywide. It is quiet possible to earn high income as a doctor in India.

But what I advise you is, Start your own Business & Investments as early as possible. This is because in my whole Medical Student life (2000 to 2010), I have observed that, Doctors are lacking in Only one thing and that is – Business & Investments.

Many Doctors earn very high but they have very less in Assets. They have not done much Investments and they have never started their own Business from Scratch. Now, you will ask me that, What is the advantage of starting your own Business?

Well, There are several advantages of starting your own Business as a doctor. First thing is that, In Business, You can replace yourself while in a medical practice you can not replace your self. Say for Example, Take the Example of this Blog.

“My Journey To Billionaire Club” is my Internet Business. It is my Blog Business & I am its CEO. Now, suppose someday if I feel that I don’t want to write any more articles or I feel that I want t break from my work and want to travel the world for a year or a two than I can easily replace myself. Because this is a Business. I can hire more writers on the board of this blog and they can run this blog even without my presence.

But as a doctor, You will never have this kind of advantage. Because after all Doctor is a profession and not the Business. So What I advise to students who are interested in joining Medical School that, Join the Medical School but think of starting your own Business from Scratch.

I prefer Internet Businesses. This is because of its lowest start-up cost and minimal to No manpower required initially. Go in Medical School but start your own Business just like me. Right now I am making good Income from this Blog Business and I am happy with it.
