What it means to Retire?

Well, different people have different meaning for the Retirement. For some Retirement means NO WORK AT ALL while for others Retirement means Financial Freedom. Here is my definition of Retirement.

For me, Retirement means Financial Freedom. Retirement means I am free to do whatever I want to do for the rest of my life without worrying about any unforeseen financial events. For me, Retirement doesn’t mean FREE From all the work. For me, retirement means I can do whatever I like to do.

Say For Example, I Love to write/Blog about Personal Finance, Business, Investments & Entrepreneurship. I Love to travel the world. I love to make new friends. I Love to socialize more with my family and friends. Of course, currently I am doing all these things but I want to do all these things without having any financial burden. I want to do all these things after Financial Freedom.

So Whenever, I will be Financially Free, I will do all of these things for the rest of my life. Now, this is my definition of Retirement. You may have different definition of retirement. For some, people retirement means you work hard for some company or government for whole of your life up to 65 years of age and than live rest of the life peacefully.

So different people have different meaning of retirement.
