Let us discuss about Bollywood’s Top most Tax payers of the year 2008-2009.

Here is a List -

01) Akshay Kumar -

 

Akshay Kumar has emerged as the top taxpayer in Bollywood for year 2008-09. Kumar paid a Total advance Tax of Rs.31 Crores in the financial year against Rs.12.5 Crore in 2007-08, a whooping 148% more than what he paid in the previous financial year. This is because his recent Box office hits. That means Akshay Kumar’s Total earnings for the period were a tad above Rs.100 Crore….!!!!

02) Shahrukh Khan (King Khan) -

Shahrukh Khan is the second highest Tax payer after Akshay Kumar. He has paid Rs.30.9 Crores in advance Tax this year. A marginally lower than Akshay Kumar. Last year King Khan has paid Rs.31.5 Crore of Tax.

Together Shahrukh Khan & Akshay Kumar account for nearly 60% of Total Rs,107 Crore forked out by Bollywood Top Advance tax payers.

03) Salman Khan -

Third is Salman Khan. He has paid Rs.14 Crores in Advance Tax.

04) Saif Ali Khan -

Saif ali khan has paid whooping Rs.8.62 Crores of Tax

05) Rajesh Khanna -

Rajesh Khanna the old hindi film actor has paid Rs.6.87 Crores of Tax.

06) Aishwarya Rai Bachhan -

Aishwarya Rai has paid Rs.4.75 Crore of Tax.

07) Kareen Kapoor -

 

Rs.3.7 Crores in Advanced Tax.

08) Abhishek Bachhan -

Rs.3.2 Crores is Advance Tax.

09) Amitabh Bachhan -

Rs.1.25 Crores in Advance Tax.
