JRD Tata Stories

JRD TATA was the famous and successful Indian entrepreneur. He was the chairman of TATA Sons, the key holding company of TATA Group for 50 years (1938-1988).

There are several books written on JRD Tata. Out of which I personally like 2 books by R.M. lala, the one is Beyond the Last Blue Mountain and the other The creation of Wealth.

I have personally read both the books and both of them are excellent books. The book contains various stories of JRD Tata and his leadership.

JRD was the pioneer of the Indian Aviation Industry. He founded TATA Air in 30s and later on sold it to government of India in 1948. Today it is known as Air India.
