JRD Tata was a great leader and the entrepreneur. He was the former chairman of TATA Group (1938 to 1988). Here are the various achievements of JRD Tata.

- JRD Tata joined TATA Sons at the age of 21 years only.

- He became the chairman of TATA Sons, the key holding company of TATA Group in 1938 at the age of 28 years only.

- When he joined, TATA Sons, it was a group having 14 enterprises but during the time of JRD, it was grown to 95 Enterprises conglomerate.

- JRD was the aviation pioneer of India. He started TATA Air airlines in 30s which later on became Air India in 1948 when he sold it to the government of India.

- JRD Tata started a tradition in Bombay House that the stray dogs can live in Bombay House.

- JRD Tata was awarded “Bharat Ratna” Award.

- TATA Group companies are run and managed by professionals who firmly believe in the philosophy of JRD Tata.

- JRD Tata had never bribe anyone to start or promote any business of TATA Group.
