The above is a YouTube Video of Dholera SIR, Gujarat. Many of you may have never heard about Dholera. Let me first introduce Dholera.
Dholera is a town in Gujarat, India. Dholera is an ancient port-city in Gulf of Khambhat, 30 k.m. away from Dhandhuka village of Ahmedabad district. One of the original six temples built by Swaminarayan is located here.
It is 140 km away from my own city Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

The vision for DMIC is to create strong economic base with globally competitive environment and state-of-the-art infrastructure to activate local commerce, enhance foreign investments and attain sustainable development.
Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor is to be conceived as a Model Industrial Corridor of international standards with emphasis on expanding the manufacturing and services base and develop DMIC as the ‘Global Manufacturing and Trading Hub’.

Dholera is very much near to DMIC.
Dholera SIR is total 800 Sq.Km of area with a green field location. Among which the development area is 500 Sq.Km and the Economic activity area is 360 Sq.Km.
It will have world-class level of infrastructure and connectivity from inside to outside. The central spine express way and metro rail will link with the various mega cities.
It will have an International Airport and a Sea Port along with it. It will have a golf course, educational and training institutes and financial centers.
Dholera will be really close to,
01) GIFT – Gujarat International Finance TechCity &
02) Petro-Chemicals & Petro Inv. Regions (PCPIR)
It will also have benefits of DMIC – High Impact Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor.
One Salient feature of Dholera is that, it will be the Autonomous body having 4 tier structure and that’s why it will work as independent and take its own independent decisions.
