Blogs are the Intellectual Properties in its purest form. This is because the content of any Blog is the end product of mind’s labour. Blogs are also the Web properties. And yeah, Blogs are the Internet Businesses also and their owner are it’s CEO. In short, if you are the owner of a Blog than it means that you are the owner of the valuable asset.
Now, if we consider something as an asset than obviously we must have some valuation method for the analysis of that asset. We have the valuation analysis methods of Stocks, Bonds, Gold, Real Estate, Art, Vintage Cars and Businesses so Why not for a Blog?
Blogs have become popular after 2000 and buying and selling activity in the blogsphere became prominent after 2005. Many Amateur blogs had been sold for literally $ 10000, $ 20,000 and even $ 50000 in the past few years.
And the market places like Sitepoint.com and Flippa.com have reported several blog deals in the past few years. But unfortunately right now the world does not have any proper valuation method for Blogs.

In the article, valuations of top 25 blogs from the blogsphere has given based on their Revenue generation capacity per year. Blogs like TechCrunch, Huffingtonpost and MacRumors are worth of more than $ 50 Million. And the valuations of these blogs gone this much higher in the past decade only.
This shows that, you can become rich at the speed of light in the information age by doing the Internet Business. Anyway, in Summary, Blogs are the valuable assets. If you are a blog owner than it means that you are the owner of a valuable property.
