High Income Low Net Worth: Are You Wealthy?

Do you earn High Income from your job or a profession? If yes, than I ask you that, What Do you think? Are You Wealthy?

Well, I am asking you this question because most of the high income people around this world think that they are wealthy. Of course, this can be true. But not in every case. Not the everyone around this world making more money is necessarily a rich.

Most people consider their income their wealth. But it is not true. Your Income is not your Wealth. A Wealth is something that you accumulate. Every time when a salary rises, these people started thinking that, now they are richer than before and they start spending lots of money to fuel their luxurious life style.

But What if suddenly they stop working because of a sudden job loss or a disability? How many days they can survive on their Investments and other Assets Income? Not many days. In fact, not even a year.

Remember, Wealth is calculated in time. Suppose today if you stop working and if you can survive for the rest of your life on your current Investments without working anymore and maintaining the same level of your life style, than you are wealthy.

A Person having a Net Worth of $ 2 Million is not necessarily a Rich and wealthy if his annual expense is $ 8,00,000. This is because this person can not survive for even 3 years on his current assets if he stops working today.

Don’t consider High Income as High Net Worth. Most of the people struggle financially because they focus mainly on increasing their Income. While Wealthy people focus mainly on growing their Assets.

To become Rich & Wealthy you have to focus on growing your Assets and not on the Income. Remember, The more Assets you have, the more Rich You are…!!!
