Domain Parking – A New Investment Opportunity

Do you know that, Domain Parking is a new Investment Opportunity? There are many Domain Investors around the world. These Investors build a Portfolio of Good Domain Names. They either register a new Domain name or acquire already registered Domain name from US $ 5 – literally millions of Dollars.

The famous Example is – Loan.com – This Domain name sold for whooping US $ 3 Millions. Domains is an Asset just like any other Asset such as Stocks, Bonds, Gold, Real Estate & Mutual Funds. Only Domain Name is also an Asset like Blogs, Forums & Websites.

There are Online Market Places for buying and Selling Domains. The Best Market place for buying & Selling Domains is Sedo.

Another reputed Market Place is GoDaddy.com.

So Why Domains are considered as Assets & can be worth of Millions? -

01) Cashflow – The first reason is Cashflow generating capacity of Domains. Only a Domain name can generate a we traffic if it is a popular word. Parked Domains can generate anywhere from US $ 1 to literally thousands of Dollars every month by displaying advertisements.

Even a parked and un used Domain has some amount of traffic through search engines and back links if it is old. The older is the Domain, the more will be the traffic on that Domain. And because of its Income generating Capacity, many investors invest in Domains only.

02) Capital Gains – Like any other Assets, Domains appreciate in its value over the time. So suppose you have registered a Domain Name today for $ 10 than after 1 year it may be worth of $ 50,000 or even more. Owning a Domain is exactly same like owning a piece of Real Estate.

03) Website Development – If you invest in a good Domain names which already have some amount of traffic than developing a website under those Domains will have a good traffic from the day of launching and thus you will have good Revenue from your site from the day first.

In Short, Domains are Assets. And Many people around this world invest in this Asset and build a Portfolio. Investing in Domains is a New Investment Opportunity.
