India’s Largest Bank State Bank of India (SBI) has cut down the deposit rates by 0.25% on all forms of Deposits. Here is a New Table of SBI Deposit Rates.
Revised SBI Deposit Rates effective from 15th June 2009 -
Old Deposit Rates Revised Deposit Rates
01) 181 Says to < 1 Year 6.50% 6.25%
02) 1 – 2 Years 7.25% 7.00%
03) 2 – < 1000 Days 7.50% 7.25%
04) 1001 Days – < 3 Years 7.50% 7.25%
05) 3 – 5 Years 7.50% 7.25%
06) 5 – 8 Years 8.00% 7.75%
07) 8 – 10 Years 8.25% 8.00%
SBI has cut the deposit rates because the inflation has been cooled down to 0.13% only and within next few weeks, it may go below Zero Level (Deflation). These Deposit Rates are still very attractive. I advise anyone to invest at this interest rates.
